In many ways the most modern of Italian cities, Milan is a busy, elegant metropolis with an impressive list of grand palaces, fine churches, and important museums.
Family-friendly places like Duomo di Milano and Riva Bianca Beach will thrill your kids. Venture out of the city with trips to Villa del Balbianello (in Tremezzina), Bellagio (i Giardini di Villa Melzi & Borgo di Pescallo) and Il Parco di Villa Erba (in Cernobbio).
