As Valencia’s second largest city and one of the most well-known along the Costa Blanca, Alicante has an enchanting atmosphere that blends rich history with animated beach life.
Change things up with these side-trips from Alicante: Benidorm (Paintball Benidorm, Mundomar, &more), Villajoyosa (Valor Chocolate Museum, Playa El Torres, &more) and Denia (Playa Els Molins, Torre del Gerro, &more). There's still lots to do: make a trip to Misteri D'Elx, tour the pleasant surroundings at El Palmeral, get engrossed in the history at Museo Arqueologico de Alicante, and kick back and relax at Playa de San Juan.

Xàbia or Jávea is a coastal town in the comarca of Marina Alta, in the province of Alicante, Valencia, Spain, by the Mediterranean Sea. Venture out of the city with trips to Iglesia de la Natividad de Nuestra Senora (in Alcalali) and La Bodega del Garroferal (in Murla). There's still lots to do: take a memorable tour with Buceo Cabo la Nao, make a trip to Playa Ambolo, enjoy the sand and surf at Playa La Granadella, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Banos de la Reina en Xabia.
