Uchiko is a town located in Kita District, Ehime Prefecture, Japan.On January 1, 2005 the town of Ikazaki, from Kita District; and the town of Oda, from Kamiukena District, were merged into Uchiko.As of April 1, 2017 (after this merger), the town has an estimated population of 16,172 and a density of 54 persons per km². Get in touch with nature at Omogo Valley and Nametoko Valley. Discover out-of-the-way places like Yuge Shrine and Namekawakeikoku. Venture out of the city with trips to Shirai Fall (in Toon), Shikoku Karst Onogahara (in Seiyo) and Ozu (Ao Island, Shussekiji Temple, &more). There's much more to do: appreciate the views at Izumidani Terraces, don't miss a visit to Michi-no-Eki Odanosato Seseragi, and take in the dramatic natural features at Mimidodake Rock.
