Sitges is a town about 35 kilometres southwest of Barcelona, in Catalonia, renowned worldwide for its Film Festival and Carnival. Explore Sitges' surroundings by going to Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey (in Montserrat) and Salou (PortAventura Caribe Aquatic Park, Illuminated Fountain, &more). There's still lots to do: tour the pleasant surroundings at La Playa de Sitges, admire the masterpieces at Palau de Maricel, awaken your taste buds at some of the top wineries in the area, and enjoy the sand and surf at Playa Balmins.
