Killin is a village situated at the western head of Loch Tay in Stirling (formerly Perthshire), Scotland.The west end of the village is magnificently sited around the scenic Falls of Dochart, the main street leading down towards the Loch at the confluence of the rivers Dochart and Lochay. On the 21st (Mon), take in the dramatic scenery at Falls of Dochart and then hike along Killin and Loch Tay Walks.

Manchester to Killin is an approximately 5-hour car ride. You can also do a combination of flight and car. Finish your sightseeing early on the 21st (Mon) to allow enough time to drive to Fort William.

Fort William is the second largest settlement in the Highlands of Scotland with around 10,000 inhabitants – and the largest town: only the city of Inverness is larger.Fort William is a major tourist centre, with Glen Coe just to the south, Aonach Mòr to the east and Glenfinnan to the west, on the Road to the Isles. Start off your visit on the 22nd (Tue): take a memorable tour with Rockhopper Sea Kayaking - Day Tours, then identify plant and animal life at Loch Linnhe Picnic Area, then admire the verdant scenery at Glen Coe, and finally hike along Glencoe Lochan.
