Pulau Tioman

Thick, verdant jungle blankets the hilly island of Pulau Tioman, dotted with steep cliffs and tumbling waterfalls, and filled with rare species such as bearcats, giant flying squirrels, slow lorises, and Tioman "walking" catfish.
Pulau Tioman is known for wildlife, outdoors, and beaches. Your plan includes some of its best attractions: discover the deep blue sea with a scuba or snorkeling tour, head outdoors with Monkey Bay, kick back and relax at Panuba Beach, and tee off at Tioman Island Golf Club.

For more things to do, ratings, reviews, and tourist information, you can read our Pulau Tioman journey planner.

Kuala Lumpur to Pulau Tioman is an approximately 9.5- hour combination of bus and ferry. You can also do a combination of flight, bus, and ferry; or do a combination of train, taxi, and ferry. When traveling from Kuala Lumpur in March, plan for slightly colder days in Pulau Tioman, with highs around 36°C, while nights are about the same with lows around 28°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 28th (Sat) to allow time for travel back home.
