At the heart of British Columbia's wine country, Kelowna is at once both urban and rural, featuring a modern downtown encircled by picturesque hills carpeted with vineyards and orchards.
Kick off your visit on the 5th (Thu): explore the activities along Lake Okanagan and then enjoy the sand and surf at Boyce-Gyro Beach Park. On the next day, savor the flavors at Food & Drink, do a tasting at Mission Hill Family Estate Winery, and then learn about winemaking at Quails' Gate Winery.

Ottawa to Kelowna is an approximately 9.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and bus. You'll gain 3 hours traveling from Ottawa to Kelowna due to the time zone difference. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 6th (Fri) to allow time to drive to Osoyoos.
