The political capital of Martinique, Fort-de-France has a thriving commercial center and a number of historic sites.
Kick off your visit on the 9th (Fri): steep yourself in history at Habitation Clement and then take in nature's colorful creations at Jardin de Balata. Keep things going the next day: kick back and relax at Anse Dufour, get a new perspective on things with Boat Tours & Water Sports, and then take an in-depth tour of La Savane des Esclaves.
