Windermere is the largest natural lake in England. On the 13th (Thu), explore the activities along Coniston Water, examine the collection at Beatrix Potter Gallery, then appreciate the extensive heritage of Loughrigg Fell, and finally indulge your thirst for a good beer at Hawkshead Brewery. Keep things going the next day: add some adventure to your tour with Windermere Canoe Kayak, then make a trip to Lake Grasmere, then explore the activities along Easedale Tarn, and finally make a trip to Allan Bank.

Nestled on the western shore of Derwentwater, Portinscale serves as a perfect base for a walking holiday in the English Lake District.
Start off your visit on the 15th (Sat): relax and float downstream with Keswick Extreme Outdoor Activities, tour the pleasant surroundings at Alpacaly Ever After, sample the tasty concoctions at Keswick Brewing Company, then get engrossed in the history at Keswick Museum, and finally walk around Hope Park.
