4 days in Kalaw Itinerary

Established by British civil servants as a summer resort, Kalaw retains much of its colonial feel.

Step off the beaten path and head to Sagar Village and Hnee Paya. Visiting Pindaya Caves and Main Ma Ye' Tha-Khin-Ma Mountain will get you outdoors. Get out of town with these interesting Kalaw side-trips: Taunggyi (Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery & Kakku Pagodas). There's more to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Thein Taung Pagoda Monastery and make a trip to Shwe Oo Min Pagoda.
