Holyhead is the largest town in the county of Isle of Anglesey in Wales. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Holyhead: Portmeirion Village (in Portmeirion), Caernarfon Castle (in Caernarfon) and Gelert's Grave (in Beddgelert). Next up on the itinerary: take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Snowdon, take in the views from Menai Suspension Bridge, look for all kinds of wild species at South Stack Cliffs RSPB Reserve, and pause for some serene contemplation at Llanbadrig Church.

To see reviews, other places to visit, and more tourist information, you can read our Holyhead tour itinerary tool .
