Fair City

A history spanning over a thousand years, vibrant nightlife, and a mix of Georgian and modern architecture make Dublin a popular European tourist destination.
Step off the beaten path and head to Wicklow Mountains National Park and Dublinia. Get a sense of the local culture at Chester Beatty and Croke Park Stadium Tour & GAA Museum. Go for a jaunt from Dublin to Donore to see Bru na Boinne about 46 minutes away. And it doesn't end there: sample the fine beverages at Teeling Whiskey Distillery, wander the streets of Grafton Street, enjoy the sand and surf at Portmarnock Beach, and pause for some serene contemplation at Christ Church Cathedral.

If you are flying in from Germany, the closest major aiport is Dublin Airport. In March, plan for daily highs up to 10°C, and evening lows to 1°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 7th (Wed) to allow time to travel back home.
