Sitting on the eastern range of the Colombian Andes, the city of Tunja was founded by the Spanish in the first half of the 16th century.
On the 10th (Sun), don't miss a visit to Parque Central y Feria Dulce de Iza, pause for some serene contemplation at Iglesia de San Ignacio, and then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Iglesia de Santa Barbara.

Guatavita is a municipality and town of Colombia in the Guavio Province of the department of Cundinamarca. On the 12th (Tue), see the interesting displays at Museo Indigena Guatavita and then enjoy the sand and surf at Laguna de Guatavita.
