Town of Art and History

Situated on the banks of the lower Loire river, Blois opens doors to many activities centered along the banks of the river.
On the 15th (Wed), get to know the fascinating history of Escalier Denis Papin, then explore the historical opulence of Chateau Royal de Blois, and then see the interesting displays at Maison de la Magie Robert-Houdin. On the next day, make a trip to Chateau de Chambord, then make a trip to Maison de l'Acrobate, then stroll around Les Jardins de l’Ancien Eveche, and finally explore the historical opulence of Chateau Royal d'Amboise.

Cheverny is a commune in the French department of Loir-et-Cher.It lies in the Loire Valley, about 10km southeast of Blois.SightsThe commune is the site of the Château de Cheverny. Kick off your visit on the 17th (Fri): learn about winemaking at Domaine Le Portail, then step into the grandiose world of Chateau de Cheverny, then pause for some serene contemplation at Mairie, and finally do a tasting at Maison des Vins de Cheverny.
