Billund

— 2 nights

Home of LEGO

Billund centers around everything LEGGO, as the seat of the internationally renowed company's headquarters (and also home to the Billund airport, built by the LEGGO company).
Get out of town with these interesting Billund side-trips: Hjerting Kirke (in Esbjerg), Herning bibliotek (in Herning) and Blaavand (Tirpitz & Blaavand Beach). There's still lots to do: catch some excitement at LEGO House, walk around Skulpturpark, cool off at Lalandia, and make a trip to Street Art.

For reviews, maps, photos, and other tourist information, you can read our Billund trip planner.

Bornholm municipality covers the entire island of Bornholm, located in the Baltic Sea. Rich in natural beauty, the island is characterized by rugged rock faces, thick pine forests, farmland, and beaches that dot its 158 km (98 mi) coastline. During warm summer months, Bornholm's tiny coastal villages and quiet fishing harbors receive droves of tourists from neighboring countries. Visitors from Scandinavia come for the island's smoked herring.
