Regensburg

— 37 nights
One of Germany’s oldest towns and home to a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Regensburg today offers a medieval charm not found in many of the country’s cities today.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Regensburg: Landshut (Heiliggeistkirche, Landshuter Hochzeit, &more), Burg zu Burghausen (in Burghausen) and Kurpark (in Bad Fussing). Spend the 15th (Wed) exploring nature at Tierfreigelaende im Nationalparkzentrum Lusen. Spend the 20th (Mon) exploring nature at Nationalpark Bayerischer Wald. And it doesn't end there: appreciate the extensive heritage of Old Town, stop by Fuggerei, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Evangelisch-Lutherische Kirchengemeinde Dreieinigkeitskirche, and examine the collection at Golf Museum.

To find ratings, where to stay, photos, and more tourist information, you can read our Regensburg holiday maker website.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Nuremberg Airport, Memmingen Allgau Airport and Flughafen München-Riem. In April, plan for daily highs up to 57°F, and evening lows to 36°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 10th (Sun) early enough to travel back home.
