Hengchun

Located on the southern tip of the eponymous peninsula, Hengchun serves as the entry point to Kenting National Park, often attracting more travelers than locals with its tropical beach resorts and bustling night markets.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Sand Island (Sa-Dau) and Kenting Wanli Dong. Take a break from the city and head to Kenting Long Keng Ecological Reserve and Dawan Kenting Beach Park. When in Hengchun, make a side trip to see Xiao Liu Qiu in Liuqiu, approximately Liuqiu away. There's lots more to do: don't miss a visit to Guan Shan Fude Temple, stroll around Eluanbi, get outside with Outdoor Activities, and explore the wealth of natural beauty at Kenting National Park.

Singapore, Singapore to Hengchun is an approximately 9.5-hour combination of flight and car. You can also drive. In February, Hengchun is a bit cooler than Singapore - with highs of 29°C and lows of 19°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 18th (Mon) so you can travel to Magong.

Magong

Most visitors take a trip to Magong to see Penghu's iconic landmark, the famed Tianhou Gong Mazu temple, honoring the Chinese sea goddess and dating back to the 16th century.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Kueibishan and Daguoye Xuanwuyan. Get in touch with nature at Penghu Islands and Hujing Island. Get out of town with these interesting Magong side-trips: Xiyu (Siyu & Erkan Almond Tea). And it doesn't end there: make a trip to Guanyin Buddhist Temple, examine the collection at Crab Museum, take in the awesome beauty at Serpent Head Mountain, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Penghu Tianhou Temple.

Traveling by combination of bus and flight from Hengchun to Magong takes 5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of taxi and ferry; or do a combination of bus and ferry. When traveling from Hengchun in February, plan for slightly colder days and about the same nights in Magong: temperatures range from 19°C by day to 19°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 23rd (Sat) so you can catch the flight to Xinyi Township.

You can fly from Magong to Xinyi Township in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of flight and taxi; or do a combination of ferry, train, and taxi. In February, daytime highs in Xinyi Township are 19°C, while nighttime lows are 19°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 24th (Sun) early enough to drive to Ren'ai Township.

Step out of the city life by going to Wuling and Shihmen Mountain. Explore hidden gems such as Wenwu Temple and Xuan Guang Wharf. Venture out of the city with trips to Yuchi (Wenwumiaohoushan Park & Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village).

Getting from Xinyi Township to Ren'ai Township by car takes about 3.5 hours. In February, plan for daily highs up to 20°C, and evening lows to 20°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 27th (Wed) to allow time to travel to Ludao.

Nestled between the sea and the mountains, Hualien boasts a number of attractions, both natural and manmade.
Get in touch with nature at Yun Shan Shuei Ecological Farm and Baiyang Trail. Discover out-of-the-way places like Qixing Lake Binhai Bicycle Road and Shakadang Trail.
