The capital of the Philippines and the "Pearl of the Orient," Manila truly resembles a gem: rough on the outside, but glittering within.
Visit Manila American Cemetery and Memorial and St. James The Apostle Church for their historical value. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Marian Orchard and Ayala Museum. Change things up with these side-trips from Manila: San Guillermo Church (in Bacolor), All Hands Beach (in Subic Bay Freeport Zone) and Makati (Spas, Ayala Triangle Gardens, &more).
