— 34 nights
Dunkirk is a commune in the Nord department in northern France. Let the collections at La Coupole and Musee Portuaire capture your imagination. Get some historical perspective at Etaples Military Cemetery and Abbaye de Valloires. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Dunkirk: Amiens (Grande Rederie d'Amiens, Zoo d'Amiens, &more), Le Touquet Beach (in Le Touquet – Paris-Plage) and Eglise Saint-Vaast (in Bethune). There's still lots to do: identify plant and animal life at Parc du Marquenterre, step into the grandiose world of Chateau Fort de Rambures, see the interesting displays at Blockhaus d'Eperlecques, and steep yourself in history at Saint-Omer Cathedrale.

To find traveler tips, other places to visit, reviews, and other tourist information, use the Dunkirk road trip website.

If you are flying in from Czech Republic, the closest major aiports are Lille-Lesquin Airport, Calais International Rail Station and Lille International Rail Station.
