Belfast

— 34 nights
A city with character, Belfast remains a great place for a leisurely exploration, as it is still relatively undiscovered by foreign tourists, who usually opt to visit Dublin instead.
Visit Crumlin Road Gaol and City Walls for their historical value. Visit Causeway Coastal Route and East Strand for some beach relaxation. Venture out of the city with trips to Nendrum Monastic Site (in Comber), Portrush (Portrush West Strand, Dunluce Castle, &more) and Ballywalter Beach (in Ballywalter). There's still lots to do: take an in-depth tour of Ulster Museum, steep yourself in history at Parliament Buildings, examine the collection at HMS Caroline, and get a sense of history and politics at City Hall.

For reviews, traveler tips, where to stay, and more tourist information, refer to the Belfast trip maker app.

If you are flying in from Malta, the closest major aiports are George Best Belfast City Airport, Belfast International Airport and Glasgow Prestwick Airport. In February, plan for daily highs up to 8°C, and evening lows to 3°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 10th (Sun) early enough to travel back home.
