As the site of the sacred cathedral that marks the end of the pilgrimage route of the famous St.
Get in touch with nature at Parque Natural Fragas do Eume and Camino de Finisterre. Appreciate the collections at Museo Catedralicio and The City of Culture of Galicia. Get out of town with these interesting Santiago de Compostela side-trips: Castelo de Soutomaior (in Soutomaior), Tui Cathedral (in Tui) and Playa da Xunqueria (in Moana). Dedicate the 27th (Sat) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. There's still lots to do: don't miss a visit to Plaza del Obradoiro, take in the spiritual surroundings of Monasterio de San Pedro de Rocas, steep yourself in history at Igreja de San Fructuoso, and get a dose of the wild on a nature and wildlife tour.
