Nazaré is a town and a municipality in subregion Oeste and Leiria District, in Portugal.It is one of the most popular seaside resorts in the Silver Coast/Costa de Prata, Portugal. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Nazare: Obidos (Grande Mercado Medieval de Obidos, Praia d'el Rey Golf Course, &more) and Capelas Imperfeitas (in Batalha). There's much more to do: zoom along the surf with Atlantic Safaris, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Church of Nossa Senhora da Nazaré, get great views at Miradouro do Suberco, and pick up some local products at Mercado Municipal de Nazare.

Traveling by car from Lisbon to Nazare takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a train. When traveling from Lisbon in September, plan for little chillier days in Nazare, with highs around 28°C, while nights are about the same with lows around 16°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 6th (Sun) to allow time to drive to Porto.

Porto

Called "Oporto" by many, the city of Porto along the Duoro River lent the country and Port wine their names. Portugal's second-largest metropolis dates back to the 4th century, representing both a rich cultural past and industrial present through its architecture and style.
Take a break from Porto with a short trip to Toboga in Braga, about 1h 30 min away. Dedicate the 8th (Tue) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. There's much more to do: snap pictures at Ponte de Dom Luis I, let the river carry you with a rafting and tubing tour, take in the local highlights with Walking tours, and contemplate the waterfront views at Douro River.
