Bruges

— 33 nights

Venice of the North

The medieval town of Bruges centers around a canal, and the architecture of its historical district has made it a World Heritage Site.
Get some historical perspective at Tyne Cot Cemetery and Hill 60. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Cathedrale Saint Sauveur de Bruges and St. Nicholas' Cathedral. Get out of town with these interesting Bruges side-trips: De Panne (Dumont Quarter & De Panne Beach), Diksmuide (Blankaart Nature Reserve, German War Cemetery of Langemark , Belgium, &more) and Ieper (Ypres) (Market Square, Ramparts Cemetery, &more). The adventure continues: get engrossed in the history at Talbot House - Museum, brush up on your military savvy at For Freedom Museum, take in the views from St Bonifacius Bridge, and stroll the grounds of Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery.

To find photos, more things to do, maps, and other tourist information, you can read our Bruges trip itinerary builder site.
