Frisco, Hatteras Island

Frisco is a small unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) on the barrier island of Hatteras Island, between the villages of Buxton and Hatteras. Relax by the water at Frisco Beach and Haulover. Get out of town with these interesting Frisco side-trips: Cape Hatteras National Seashore (in Hatteras Island) and Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge (in Rodanthe). There's still lots to do: look for gifts at Harbor House Seafood Market, contemplate the long history of Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, have some family-friendly fun at Frisco Mini Golf & Go Karts, and examine the collection at Frisco Native American Museum.
