Fly from Sapporo to Kanazawa in 5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or do a combination of car and ferry. When traveling from Sapporo in July, plan for a bit warmer days and about the same nights in Kanazawa: temperatures range from 34°C by day to 26°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 6th (Tue) early enough to go by car to Kyoto.
