Take a break from Tokyo with a short trip to Tokyo DisneySea in Maihama, about 30 minutes away. Warrnambool, Australia to Tokyo is an approximately 30-hour flight. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 1 hour traveling from Warrnambool to Tokyo. In March, daytime highs in Tokyo are 17°C, while nighttime lows are 7°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 23rd (Mon) so you can catch the train to Kanazawa.

An old castle town largely unspoiled during World War II, Kanazawa features well-preserved architecture spread across a range of districts.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Kanazawa: Shirakawa-mura (Wada House, The Historic Villages of Shirakawa-go Gassho Style Houses, & more), Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route (in Tateyama-machi) and Takayama (Hida Takayama Museum of Art, Takayama Jinya, & more). Traveling by train from Tokyo to Kanazawa takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can fly; or drive. In March, Kanazawa is little chillier than Tokyo - with highs of 13°C and lows of 3°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 27th (Fri) to allow time to drive to Nagoya.
