Located on the coast in the middle of the island, Onna-son has become known for its beaches and seaside economy.
Venture out of the city with trips to Motobu-cho (Emerald Beach & Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium), Naha (Shurijo Castle, Makishi Public Market, & more) and Tropical Beach (in Ginowan). Venture out of the city with trips to Nagasaki Bio Park (in Saikai) and Huis Ten Bosch (in Sasebo). There's still lots to do: get engrossed in the history at Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum, steep yourself in history at Nagasaki Peace Park, head off the coast to Hashima Island, and pause for some photo ops at Nagasaki Peace Memorial Hall for the Atomic Bomb Victims.

You can do a combination of taxi, flight, and train from Onna-son to Nagasaki in 4.5 hours.
