Rome, Italy

— 25 nights

Eternal City

Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.
Step off the beaten path and head to Villa d'Este and Centro Storico Associazione Centro Storico. Step out of the city life by going to Cascata delle Marmore and Grotte di Stiffe. Venture out of the city with trips to Tarquinia (Necropoli dei Monterozzi, Necropoli di Tarquinia, &more), Catacomba Di Villa San Faustino (in Massa Martana) and Cattedrale Di San Francesco (in Civitavecchia). There's lots more to do: explore the different monuments and memorials at Vatican Necropolis, steep yourself in history at Monte Cassino, get to know the fascinating history of Piazza del Campidoglio, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta Spoleto.
