Hexham is a market town and civil parish in Northumberland, England, south of the River Tyne, and was the administrative centre for the Tynedale district from 1974 to 2009. Alnwick is a relatively large market town in north Northumberland, England, of which it is the county town. Explore Alnwick's surroundings by going to Rothbury (Tosson Lime Kiln & Caistron Trout Fishery), Bamburgh Castle (in Bamburgh) and Budle Bay (in Waren Mill).
