In many ways the most modern of Italian cities, Milan is a busy, elegant metropolis with an impressive list of grand palaces, fine churches, and important museums.
Explore Milan's surroundings by going to Gardaland Park (in Castelnuovo del Garda), Verona (Piazza Bra, Museo di Castelvecchio, &more) and Cernobbio (Chiesa del Redentore & Monte Bisbino). There's still lots to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Duomo di Milano, steep yourself in history at Il Cenacolo, stroll the grounds of Monumental Cemetery, and admire the masterpieces at Pinacoteca di Brera.
