Once a sleepy little fishing village, Brighton is a modern seaside town known for its Asian architecture and a large gay community.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Devil's Dyke and Spas & Wellness. Spend the 3rd (Sat) exploring nature at Saddlescombe Farm and Newtimber Hill. There's lots more to do: steep yourself in history at Royal Pavilion, take in the waterfront at Brighton Pier, admire the masterpieces at Brighton Museum and Art Gallery, and kick back and relax at Brighton Beach.

For ratings, more things to do, photos, and more tourist information, read Brighton sightseeing planner.

London to Brighton is an approximately 1-hour train ride. You can also drive; or take a bus. In May, plan for daily highs up to 17°C, and evening lows to 9°C. You will leave for home on the 15th (Thu).
