Kids will enjoy Wells Beach and Footbridge Beach. Take a break from the city and head to Cathedral Ledge and Fishing Charters & Tours. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Portland: St. Ann's Episcopal Church (in Kennebunkport), Reid State Park (in Georgetown) and North Conway (Diana's Baths & Mount Washington Observatory Weather Discovery Center). Once inhabited by Native American tribes, today Little Rock bustles with nearly 800,000 people.
Attractions like Zipline and Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf make great kid-friendly stops. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Petit Jean State Park and Hot Springs National Park.
