The main town on the largest of Korea's islands, Jeju has a volcanic landscape protected by UNESCO.
Get some cultural insight at Gwaneumsa Temple and Jeju National Museum. Get outdoors at Seongsan Ilchulbong and Halla Mountain. Venture out of the city with trips to Seogwipo (Jeongbang Waterfall, Cheonjiyeon Falls, &more). There's still lots to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Hamdeok Beach, step off the mainland to explore Udo, head outdoors with Woljeongri Beach, and walk around Hallim Park.

The country's second city, Busan has often been referred to as South Korea's summer capital.
Do your shopping at Jagalchi Market and Shinsegae Dept. Store Centum City. Take a break from the city and head to Haeundae Beach and Songjeong Beach. There's still lots to do: head outdoors with Gwangalli Beach, don't miss a visit to Yongdusan Park, observe the fascinating underwater world at SEA LIFE Busan Aquarium, and take some stellar pictures from Taejongdae.
