One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Pack the 6th (Sun) with family-friendly diversions at Lotte World. And it doesn't end there: take an in-depth tour of Gyeongbokgung Palace, take some stellar pictures from N Seoul Tower, take a stroll through Bukchon Hanok Village, and visit Insadong.

Faisalabad, Pakistan to Seoul is an approximately 20.5-hour combination of car and flight. You can also drive. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 4 hours traveling from Faisalabad to Seoul. Prepare for cooler weather when traveling from Faisalabad in December: high temperatures in Seoul hover around 3°C and lows are around -5°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 7th (Mon) so you can go by car to Sokcho.

On the 8th (Tue), explore the wealth of natural beauty at Seoraksan National Park. Keep things going the next day: witness a stunning natural landmark at Cheoksan Foot Spa Park, get outside with Biryong Falls, then get outside with Osaek Jujeongol Valley, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Naksansa Temple.

The capital of the country's northernmost province, the city of Chuncheon acts a gateway to the wilder sights of the rural region.
Kick off your visit on the 10th (Thu): identify plant and animal life at Ewhawon, head off the coast to Nami Island, and then pause for some photo ops at Monument for the Participation of Canada in the Korean War. Keep things going the next day: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Cheongpyeongsa and then find something for the whole family at Gangchon Rail Park.

Gongju, also spelt Kongju, is a city in South Chungcheong province, South Korea.HistoryGongju was formerly named Ungjin and was the capital of Baekje from AD 475 to 538. On the 12th (Sat), steep yourself in history at Gongsanseong, see the interesting displays at Gongju National Museum, and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Magoksa Temple. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 13th (Sun): steep yourself in history at Busosanseong Fortress, then examine the collection at Buyeo National Museum, and then steep yourself in history at Nakhwaam Rock.

Gwangju is the sixth largest city in South Korea. Venture out of the city with trips to Naejangsan National Park (in Sunchang-gun) and Unjusa (in Hwasun-gun). There's lots more to do: walk around Mudeungsan National Park, take in the spiritual surroundings of Mudeungsan Jeungsimsa Temple, stroll through 5.18 Memorial Park, and head outdoors with Soswaewon.
