The country's second city, Cebu City boasts a number of interesting colonial buildings, thriving commercial areas, and historic temples.
For shopping fun, head to Robinsons Galleria Cebu or Ayala Mall. Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral and 1730 Jesuit House will appeal to history buffs. Take a break from Cebu City with a short trip to Hermit's Cove in Aloguinsan, about 1h 40 min away.
