Often referred to as Iceland's second city, Akureyri offers an array of cultural attractions in a scenic setting.
Change things up with a short trip to Active North in Husavik (about 1h 50 min away). There's still lots to do: admire the sheer force of Goðafoss Waterfall, see Off-Road Tours, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Saurbaejarkirkja, and head off the coast to Knarrarberg - Yoga & Spa.
