Burlington

— 30 nights
Just across the bay from Hamilton and less than an hour's drive from Toronto, Burlington remains one of Canada's top destinations for quick weekend breaks.
Bring the kids along to Royal Botanical Gardens and Burlington Waterfront Trail. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Burlington: Woodstock Public Library (in Woodstock), Guelph (Donkey Sanctuary of Canada, StoneHammer Brewing, &more) and Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory (in Cambridge). There's still lots to do: test your problem-solving skills at popular escape rooms, brush up on your military savvy at HMCS Haida National Historic Site, see the interesting displays at Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, and have some family-friendly fun at Bad Axe Throwing.

For photos, other places to visit, more things to do, and other tourist information, use the Burlington online journey planner.

In July in Burlington, expect temperatures between 29°C during the day and 21°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 23rd (Fri) to allow enough time to travel back home.
