Nearly destroyed by war during the 1990s, the riverside city of Sarajevo now serves as one of the region's major educational, cultural, and commercial hubs.
Kids will enjoy Bascarsija and Sarajevo War Tunnel. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Sarajevo: Konjic (ARK D-0: Tito's Nuclear Bunker & Prenj) and Olympic Center Jahorina (in Jahorina). On the 29th (Tue), spend a day ambling around Vrelo Bosne. The adventure continues: squeeze the most out of the city with City Tours, see the interesting displays at Galerija 11/07/95, browse the exhibits of Museum Of Crimes Against Humanity And Genocide 1992-1995, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque.

Kuwait City, Kuwait to Sarajevo is an approximately 11-hour flight. The time zone changes from Arabian Standard Time (AST) to Central European Standard Time (CET), which is usually a -2 hour difference. Finish your sightseeing early on the 30th (Wed) so you can drive to Foca.

Trebinje is the southernmost municipality and city in Bosnia and Herzegovina. You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Trebisnjica River and Arslanagica Bridge. Go for a jaunt from Trebinje to Zavala to see Vjetrenica about 50 minutes away. There's still lots to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Tvrdoš Monastery, shop like a local with Hercegovina Museum, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Cathedral Temple of Holy Transfiguration of Our Lord, and take a stroll around Tourist organization of Trebinje.

Banja Luka, ) or Banjaluka is the largest city and the de facto capital of the Republika Srpska entity and second largest city in Bosnia and Herzegovina after the capital Sarajevo. Attractions like Vrbas River and Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, Banja Luka make great kid-friendly stops. Venture out of the city with trips to National Park Kozara (in Prijedor), Old Town Kljuc (in Kljuc) and Bliha Waterfall (in Sanski-Most). Traveling from Trebinje in July, Banja Luka is little chillier at night with lows of 19°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 11th (Sun) early enough to drive to Jajce.

Jajce is a town and municipality located in the central part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the Bosanska Krajina region. On the 12th (Mon), don't miss a visit to Fortress of Jajce, then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Vlasic Mountain, and then don't miss a visit to Stari grad.
