Vicente Lopez

The smallest subdivision of Buenos Aires, Vicente Lopez was named after the prominent Argentine politician Vicente Lopez y Planes, who wrote the country's national anthem.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Vicente Lopez: Remedios de Escalada (Abremate, Ferroclub Argentino CDP Remedios de Escalada, & more), Moron (Museo Nacional de Aeronautica, Estadio Nuevo Francisco Urbano, & more) and Campanopolis - Aldea medieval (in Gonzalez Catan). There's still lots to do: contemplate the long history of Villa Ocampo, grab your bike and head to Corredor Aerobico San Miguel, head outdoors with Alto Valle Parapente, and kick back and relax at Peru Beach.

To see more things to do, where to stay, and tourist information, read our Vicente Lopez day trip planner .

January in Vicente Lopez sees daily highs of 33°C and lows of 24°C at night. You'll set off for home on the 13th (Wed).
