You can drive from Kaohsiung to Hengchun in 2 hours. Other options are to take a bus; or do a combination of train and bus. In April, daily temperatures in Hengchun can reach 84°F, while at night they dip to 72°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 15th (Mon) so you can go by car to Yuchi.
