Niš is the third largest city in Serbia and the administrative center of the Nišava District in southern Serbia. Get some cultural insight at Nis Fortress and Jovic Winery. Skull Tower and Hram Svetog Pantelejmona will appeal to history buffs. Get out of town with these interesting Nis side-trips: Rtanj Mountain (in Boljevac) and Zajecar (Narodni Muzej Zajecar & Felix Romuliana in Gamzigrad).
