A natural harbor established in 1852, Port Augusta houses one of the most popular tourist attractions of the area, the Wadlata Outback Center.Start off your visit on the 27th (Sat): get great views at Water Tower Lookout, then take in nature's colorful creations at Australian Arid Lands Botanic Garden, and then take some stellar pictures from Matthew Flinders Red Cliff Lookout.
