Lying at the confluence of the Karli River and the Arabian Sea, Tarkarli is a serene hamlet famous for its long stretch of pristine coral beaches fringed by casuarina trees.

Step out of Tarkarli to go to Vengurla and see Tsunami Island, which is approximately 30 minutes away. There's lots more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Devbagh Beach, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Shree Shivchhatrapati Temple, tour the pleasant surroundings at Achra Beach, and contemplate the long history of Sindhudurg Fort.
