Crossroads of Europe

Strasbourg is famous for its beautiful historical center, the Grande Île, which was the first city center classified entirely as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Strasbourg is one of the nine largest cities in France with nearly half a million inhabitants in the metropolitan area crossing the river to the German city of Kehl, on the eastern bank of the Rhine River.
Start off your visit on the 27th (Fri): stroll around Parc de l'Orangerie, then step into the grandiose world of Château du Haut-Kœnigsbourg, and then don't miss a visit to Holtzwihr Memorial to Audie Murphy. Keep things going the next day: don't miss a visit to Vieille Ville, explore the world behind art at Musée d'Unterlinden, then identify plant and animal life at La Volerie des Aigles, and finally stop by Kerber Cadeaux.

In November, daily temperatures in Strasbourg can reach 11°C, while at night they dip to 3°C. On the 29th (Sun), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can take a train back home.
