Barcelona, the country’s second-largest city, is a cosmopolitan urban center known for its throbbing youthful energy and stellar architecture.
Start off your visit on the 24th (Fri): contemplate the long history of Basilica de Santa Maria del Mar. On the next day, take a stroll through El Barri Gòtic, then admire the landmark architecture of Casa Batllo, then admire the landmark architecture of Casa Mila - La Pedrera, and finally get a taste of the local shopping with La Boqueria.
