Transformed over the last few decades from a rural residential area into one of the most popular tourist areas among Thai locals, Pak Chong serves as a convenient gateway to surrounding national parks and mountain ranges.
Head to Terminal 21 Korat and Pak Chong marketfor some retail therapy. Discover out-of-the-way places like Khao Yai Art Museum and Nature & Wildlife Tours. Get out of town with these interesting Pak Chong side-trips: Toscana Valley Country Club (in Mu Si), Khao Yai National Park (Haew Narok Waterfall & The Bloom By TV Pool) and Heo Narok Waterfall (in Pak Phli). There's lots more to do: learn about winemaking at Alcidini Winery, have some family-friendly fun at Pete Maze, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Wat Non Kum Temple, and look for gifts at Khaoyai floating market.

For photos, reviews, where to stay, and more tourist information, you can read our Pak Chong trip planner .

If you are flying in from Singapore, the closest major airports are Suvarnabhumi Airport, Don Mueang International Airport and U-Tapao International Airport. Finish your sightseeing early on the 29th (Tue) so you can travel back home.
