3 days in Napa Itinerary

Located just 80 km (50 mi) north of San Francisco, Napa sits at the southern end of the scenic Napa Valley, one of the world's major wine regions.

Venture out of the city with trips to Castello di Amorosa (in Calistoga), Armstrong Redwood State Reserve (in Guerneville) and Lynmar Estate Winery (in Sebastopol). There's much more to do: soar above the sights with a balloon tour, do a tasting at Domaine Carneros, awaken your taste buds at some of the top wineries in the area, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Sonoma Plaza.

If you are flying in from Canada, the closest major aiports are San Francisco International Airport, Metropolitan Oakland International Airport, Sacramento International Airport and Travis Air Force Base. In September, daily temperatures in Napa can reach 32°C, while at night they dip to 12°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 20th (Fri) early enough to travel back home.
