On a vacation in Naoshima-cho, a charming island town in the Seto Inland Sea, you can discover its numerous contemporary art museums, sculptures, installations, and galleries.
You'll explore and learn at Teshima Art Museum and Benesse House Museum. Remains of Ako Castle and Kinojo Castle are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Venture out of the city with trips to Kinojo Iwaya (in Soja), Zuio-ji Temple (in Ako) and Bizen (Old Shizutani School & Four Rows Hole Gate). There's much more to do: step off the mainland to explore Naoshima, examine the collection at Ando Museum, and admire the masterpieces at Chichu Art Museum.

If you are flying in from Argentina, the closest major airports are Takamatsu Airport, Okayama Airport and Hiroshima Airport. In April in Naoshima-cho, expect temperatures between 20°C during the day and 11°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 13th (Sat) early enough to travel back home.
