— 2 nights
Lying at the foot of one of Japan's holy volcanic mountains, the charming city of Kaga draws visitors with its onsens and lovely temples.
Explore Kaga's surroundings by going to Daihonzan Eihei-ji Temple (in Eiheiji-cho), Fukui (Dinosaur Station at Fukui Station & Ichijodani Asakurashi Ruin) and Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum (in Katsuyama). The adventure continues: admire the verdant scenery at Kakusenkei Gorge, look for all kinds of wild species at Tojimbo Cliff, take in the views from Ayatori Bridge, and soak in some Japanese tradition at some of the top local onsens.
