Continuously inhabited since the Neolithic period, Killarney draws visitors with its picturesque natural scenery, fine restaurants, and traditional pubs.
Kick off your visit on the 4th (Fri): admire the striking features of St. Mary's Cathedral, identify plant and animal life at Wildlife Areas, then explore the galleries of Peter Cox Photography Gallery, and finally look for all kinds of wild species at Kerry Cliffs. On the 5th (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: stroll through Old Kenmare Road, hike along Torc Mountain Walk, then hike along The Kerry Way, and finally kick back and relax at Rossbeigh Beach.

Dublin to Killarney is an approximately 3.5-hour car ride. You can also take a train; or fly. In September, daily temperatures in Killarney can reach 20°C, while at night they dip to 13°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 5th (Sat) so you can drive to Dingle.

Dingle

Located on Ireland's western coastline, Dingle sits between scenic mountains and the Atlantic Ocean.
Start off your visit on the 6th (Sun): surround yourself with nature on a nature and wildlife tour, tour the pleasant surroundings at Coumeenoole Beach, then get outside with Dingle Bay, then take in the dramatic natural features at Conor Pass, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at St.James Church.
